Join us for a unique hour of relaxation and rejuvenation with “Purrs & Peace”, an immersive guided meditation and sound bath experience with our adoptable cats. Led by Jess from Rutherford Alchemy Healing, this session blends the healing power of sound with the calming presence of our feline friends to create the ultimate tranquil escape.

During the session, you’ll be guided through a meditation designed to promote deep relaxation, while the soothing vibrations of the sound bath will help you release tension and restore balance. Our cats will roam freely, adding their own natural purrs and calming energy to enhance your overall experience.

Your time in the Cat Lounge will consist of about 40 minutes of guided meditation and sound healing led by Jess of Rutherford Alchemy Healing.

You’ll also have about 20 minutes of time to relax, unwind and enjoy the company of our adoptable kitties.

Guided meditation is a practice where a facilitator gently leads you through calming visualizations and mindfulness techniques to help you relax and center your thoughts. You don’t need any prior experience—just bring an open mind!

The session will allow you to focus on your breath and be present in the moment, helping to reduce stress and quiet the mind. Whether you’re seeking peace, clarity, or just some time to recharge, guided meditation offers a safe and supportive space to unwind.

What to Expect: Sound Healing

Sound healing, often referred to as a sound bath, is a deeply immersive experience using vibrational sounds to promote relaxation and emotional balance. Jess will use instruments like crystal bowls or tuning forks to create soothing sound waves, encouraging the body and mind to align with the healing frequencies.

As you rest, these sounds can help clear energy blockages, reduce tension, and promote a sense of overall well-being. Combined with the presence of our cozy cat companions, this event will create a unique and peaceful experience for you to unwind and connect with both yourself and the calming environment.

What to Expect: Cat Café Environment

In addition to the relaxing guided meditation and sound healing, you’ll be sharing the space with our resident cats. These adoptable cats will be free to roam around the lounge, creating an added layer of calm and comfort during your session. Cats have a unique way of sensing energy, and their quiet presence may enhance your relaxation. Whether they’re lounging beside you or simply observing, their soothing presence contributes to the overall tranquil atmosphere.

While the cats are gentle and accustomed to visitors, it’s important to remember they are independent animals, and their activity levels may vary. You’re welcome to interact with them, but please refrain from picking them up unless they approach you. The health and safety of our cats are our priority, and we ask that all participants respect their boundaries to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.
